For the next four or five days, I will be going away to some obscure place around central Java - Yogyakarta. It is quite obvious that I am going to climb (or hike if there is such word) one or maybe two mountains. Yes, mountain of around 3000m high from sea level and not hill (e.g. Bukit Timah). I keep forgetting the name of the mountain so I will clarify it tomorrow.
Thus, to your dissapointment (yeah rite), I could not write anything crappy for almost one week - I do not know if this is a good news or not. I just hope Telkomsel GPRS will not fail me at that obscure-place-around-central-Java-Yogyakarta.
I believe most of my Singaporean friends have never been to such high place.
I am really sorry if this entry is pretty useless for many of you. The dullest entry so far.
In any case… I just realized how sucky free friendster’s blog is - I am so ignorant. Intrusive ads, limited template with almost no option for self-customization, no tracking capability,… I can not even edit the entry on HTML level!!! Argh!!!
Oh yes. I have no slightest intention to upgrade it to basic service. Even with “Save 20% on an annual subscription”.
Any suggestion for better blogging software?
- Must be free!
- Preferably the one with minimum or no ads,
- maximum or unlimited option of customisation,
- nice and concise URL,
- high or unlimited bandwidth,
- web/non-web based
- preferably with big space for hosting hi-res pictures
Do I sound so choosy? I bet so.
In any case, I am quite interested with Wordpress system. Too bad, I could not find a hosting service that fulfil minimum requirement for Wordpress. Plus, I am not sure I can at least customize the free wordpress service at CSS/HTML level.
